Vegan Crumble

I made a vegan feijoa crumble. I understand that feijoas won't be available everywhere, so I'm just gonna post the crumble ratios and how to make it. It was truly delicious! This is just a base of course, adding things like cinnamon etc would be all good!

 

Ingredients

1 Cup of Rolled Wholegrain Oats

1/2 Cup Plain Flour

3 Heaped Tablespoons Virgin Coconut Oil (if hard. If liquid, 1/3 cup is good) at a pinch, coconut butter is also good!

1/3 Cup Raw Coconut Sugar

 

Method

Mix together the dry ingredients until well mixed. Add the coconut oil to the mixture.

 

With your fingertips, rub the oil into the mixture until really well combined. Try to form the mixture into a ball. If it doesn't just stay together, you need more oil. Add a bit more oil until it just forms a ball, then break it into lumpy, crumbly pieces. Crumble over whatever cooked fruit you're using. Bake in the oven, mid-way up the oven until nicely brown and toasty.
